The CIFOP - International Congress on Researcher Training and SIFOP - International Seminar on Researcher Training is an event held annually with the aim of promoting reflection on researcher training in a globalized, diversified and socially demanding context. The VI SIFOP will take place for the first time, in person and on-line, in partnership with the I International Congress on Researcher Training, promoting discussions around the theme of "the researcher in education - expectations, achievements and visions for the future".
The theme "the researcher in education - expectations, achievements and visions for the future" proposes a dialog about the training of this professional, as well as their development and prospects for a promising career. In reflecting on this process, there is a movement to look back, in order to learn from the weaknesses and, from that, to project a future full of achievements for the researchers who contribute so much to the development of nations by bringing innovations through their research. By aligning our expectations, it is possible to identify the next steps in building a path that will enable achievements and a broad and diverse vision of doing research. Therefore, we aim to do things differently for the well-being of all, current and future generations.?The partnership between the events encourages the participation of national and international higher education professors, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students. The meetings provided by the events strengthen reflections on the professional development of education researchers in the 21st century and give new meaning to and democratize the spaces for dialogue, criticism and praxis in education research.
